Job summary

Citizens Bank in Manchester, VT is seeking a Teller to greet customers, show them how to use our mobile app and ATMs, and deliver personalized financial solutions.

You’ll follow all policies, handle cash, and connect customers with Bankers for next steps, helping them reach goals like buying a home or growing a business. The role offers 40 hours/week and starting pay at $21/hour with room to grow.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED.
• 6+ months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
• 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship.
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service.
• Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
• Qualified candidates must complete a video interview assessment after applying as the next step, to be completed within 7 days of receiving the link.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in the lobby and demonstrate how to use the mobile app or ATMs to complete simple transactions.
• Provide personalized advice and connect customers to Bankers for the next step.
• Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits and respond to questions or concerns.
• Follow all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling, state and local laws.
