Job summary

Bank of Hawaii, on Hawaii island, seeks a Branch Customer Service professional to deliver exceptional client experiences and demonstrate digital banking options. You will engage customers, build relationships, and help them use convenient online/mobile banking to meet their goals.

The role includes handling routine transactions, cross-selling services, and maintaining accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced branch environment.

Qualifications

Experience in consumer sales or customer service.
Ability to balance cash and handle transactions.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of banking products and services.

Responsibilities

Manages overall branch client experience. Proactively engages existing and prospective clients to understand and interact with 21st century banking advancements by demonstrating transactions using technology, creating an interest and handling objections.
Identifies customer needs, maintains extensive knowledge of products and services, cross-sells, opens new accounts, calls on prospects and performs teleconsulting.
Processes a wide range of financial transactions to include deposits, withdrawals, cashier’s checks and selling traveler’s checks; balances cash; opens/closes vault and assists ATM/vault duties.
Identifies and secures new high value clients; manages referrals, sales tracking and prospecting to achieve personal sales goals and contribute to team goals.
Keeps informed of bank policies and regulations; maintains knowledge of new products, programs and promotions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
