Job summary

Sheehy Auto Stores in Alexandria, VA seeks a Service Advisor to welcome customers and coordinate with our service team, acting as the liaison between customers and technicians to ensure their needs are met.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor preferred.
• Reynolds & Reynolds or similar DMS proficiency preferred.
• Must have strong customer communication skills both in-person and on the phone.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Greet service department customers promptly and courteously.
• Listen to repair needs and articulate them to technicians.
• Present recommended services with low-pressure, high-integrity methods.
• Provide accurate estimates of repair and maintenance costs.
• Adhere to dealership policy on customer vehicle care and operation.
• Follow up on each repair and keep customers informed of progress.
• Sell and manage extended warranties.
• Inspect repair quality and ensure that all work is complete.
• Notify customers when vehicles are ready for pickup.
• Review and explain repairs and associated costs to customers.
• Handle customer concerns and complaints.
• Maintain CSI scores by dealership standards.
