Job summary

Sheehy Auto Stores in Richmond is seeking a Service Advisor to greet customers, schedule appointments, and liaise between customers and service technicians. You’ll deliver exceptional service and accurate estimates in a fast-paced dealership setting.

Experience as a Service Advisor and Reynolds & Reynolds or similar DMS is preferred. Benefits are available, with compensation based on experience and performance, ranging from $50K to $200K per year.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor is preferred.
• Reynolds & Reynolds or similar DMS proficiency preferred.
• Must have strong customer communication skills both in-person and on the phone.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Greet service department customers promptly and courteously.
• Listen to customer needs and articulate repair requirements to techs.
• Present recommended services using low-pressure methods.
• Provide accurate estimates of repair/maintenance costs.
• Follow up on each repair and keep customers informed.
• Sell and manage extended warranties.
• Inspect repair quality and ensure completion.
• Notify customers when vehicles are ready for pickup.
