Job summary

Lykins Propane is seeking a Customer Service Associate to be at the center of communications, coordinating with the General Manager, service center, and delivery teams to ensure customers receive what they need on time.

You will handle calls, support retention efforts, assist with route and billing accuracy, and provide administrative support across office operations. This role offers competitive wages and benefits in our Kentucky service area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of professional customer service experience.
• Comfort handling phone-based conversations about service, billing, and scheduling.
• Ability to track details across multiple systems and documents.
• Reliable attendance and ability to follow established processes.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls with clear, respectful communication.
• Support growth and retention by resolving concerns and following up.
• Participate in outbound campaigns to retain customers and collect on past-due balances.
• Assist daily delivery and service operations by resolving routing exceptions and updating accounts.
• Provide administrative support including documentation, reporting, route paperwork, scanning, and account accuracy.
• Assist with accounts payable processing and other office operations where location requires.
