Anderson Propane Services in Illinois is seeking a Customer Service Associate to be the central contact for customers, coordinating with the General Manager and delivery teams to ensure timely service, billing accuracy, and smooth routing. The role emphasizes proactive issue resolution, outbound retention efforts, and accurate record keeping across multiple systems.

Requires 1–2 years' experience, a high school diploma, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

1–2 years of professional customer service experience.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Comfort handling phone-based conversations about service, billing, and scheduling.
Ability to track details accurately across multiple systems and documents.
Reliable attendance and the ability to follow established processes.

Responsibilities

Handle inbound and outbound customer calls with clear, respectful communication.
Support customer growth and retention by resolving concerns and following up.
Participate in outbound campaigns to retain customers and collect on past-due balances.
Assist with daily delivery and service operations and update customer accounts.
Provide administrative support including documentation, reporting, and billing accuracy.
Assist with accounts payable processing and other office operations where applicable.
