Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience supporting customers via phone, email, chat or comparable channel.
• Ability to process orders, quotes, POs, and customer records accurately in computer systems.
• Clear written and verbal communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Strong math, analytical and problem-solving skills for transactions and quotes.
• Organized, time-conscious, and able to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with adherence to procedures and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders, purchase orders, amendments, emails, and related docs to enable timely fulfillment.
• Answer calls, emails, and chats with product or technical assistance.
• Build relationships by understanding needs and identifying sales opportunities.
• Prepare proposals and quotes, coordinate payment terms within guidelines.
• Maintain comprehensive records in company systems for accountability and visibility.
• Coordinate with sales, suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues and move work forward.
• Prepare reports and follow safety/operating procedures while seeking process improvements.
