Job summary

CBT in Cincinnati is seeking a Customer Care Specialist to ensure focused communication with clients and vendors, expedite orders, verify pricing, part numbers and quantities, and support the sales process.

You will handle returns, respond to requests, prepare reports in Excel, assist sales teams, coordinate with shipping and accounting, and step in for reception as needed. A strong eye for detail and solid MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of administrative or sales support experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; able to learn additional software as needed.
• Clear written and verbal communication; strong active listening.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Expedite and follow up on new and existing orders (verify pricing/part numbers/quantities).
• Process returns and credits; collaborate with shipping and accounting.
• Answer telephone calls and deliver accurate messages; provide information as needed.
• Prepare correspondence, reports, or presentations from drafts or guidance.
• Compile weekly customer reports in Excel; support sales presentations.
• Assist inside and outside sales; train new Specialists as needed.
• Fill in for Receptionist and other Customer Care Specialists when required.
