Job summary

Saia LTL Freight is seeking a Clerical/Customer Service Associate to support terminal operations by preparing and processing shipment documentation and handling inquiries. You will help keep paperwork organized and coordinate with drivers and operations staff to ensure timely dispatch.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.
• Transportation, customer service, or related experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, prints, scans, and organizes documentation for terminal operations and dispatch.
• Maintains accurate filing and recordkeeping systems for shipments and terminal records.
• Bundles and distributes paperwork for outbound shipments in coordination with operations staff.
• Reviews outbound load paperwork to ensure accuracy before dispatch.
• Handles inbound calls and emails to provide timely resolution and a positive customer experience.
• Arranges dock pickups and dock drops for customers in coordination with operations staff.
• Provides assistance and support to internal and external drivers for the line haul department.
• Identifies paperwork or process issues, escalating as needed to prevent delays, and assists with administrative projects or special tasks as assigned.
