Claudia Salmon-Getz - State Farm Agent in Tempe, AZ is seeking a friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for customers. This hands-on role goes beyond simply answering calls and involves resolving needs, processing payments, and handling policy documents.

You will assist with licensing tasks, vehicle changes, and service requests, while identifying opportunities to discuss additional insurance options. A proactive, organized approach is essential for success and agency growth.

Qualifications

• State Farm experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent phone and customer service skills.
• Ability to recognize opportunities during conversations and pivot to additional products.
• Resourceful, organized, accurate and dependable.
• Able to learn quickly, retain training and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and resolve routine customer needs
• Process payments and assist with billing questions
• Send ID cards, policy documents, and complete routine policy changes
• Assist with vehicle changes, lienholder updates, Drive Safe & Save, and other service requests
• Document conversations and follow up as needed
• Research questions before escalating to another team member
• Identify opportunities to help customers with additional insurance needs
• Pivot conversations to other lines of insurance when appropriate and offer to connect customers with the sales team
• Help generate sales appointments, referrals, and Google reviews
