Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Customer Service Representative to handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries by phone and email, ensuring professional and service-oriented support. The role includes data entry, order processing, and processing returns, with overtime as necessary.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Word/Excel; AS400 is a plus. The position supports team goals and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ year of related experience and/or training in the field.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Access; AS400 beneficial.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret written instructions.
• Strong mathematical ability with basic arithmetic operations.
• Detail oriented with good prioritization and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound inquiries via phone and email professionally.
• Maintain excellent data entry skills.
• Process customer returns and manage inventory updates.
• Troubleshoot and respond to customers promptly.
• Assist with receptionist duties when needed.
• Be flexible and able to work overtime; participate in safety activities.
