Job summary

Controlled Products Systems Group (CPSG), a Chamberlain Group affiliate, is hiring for a customer care/order entry role at our Charlotte, NC location. The role covers handling customer inquiries, entering and expediting orders, and following up on order status with branches and customers.

Qualifying candidates will have strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills. This on-site position requires physical capability, forklift operation, and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years customer care experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills; strong computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders into the systems and expedite per established processes.
• Respond to customer requests to ensure highest level of service.
• Follow-up on order status and relay shipping information.
• Initiate and process customer claims and disputes; distribute inquiries to branch personnel.
• Assist with inventory tracking, restocking, and housekeeping.
• Meet and greet will-call customers and ensure orders are completed expeditiously.
• Review dealer web orders for special handling due to inventory or shipping instructions.
• Operate forklift and other branch equipment as required.
