Job summary

Chamberlain Group, through its CPSG affiliate, is seeking an Associate II in Customer and Branch Operations in Chicago, IL. This role maintains heavy daily phone contact with customers, enters orders, expedites them, responds to requests to ensure top service, and uses CRM to manage cases and reports.

You will also assist with inventory, handle will-call pickups, review dealer web orders, and operate branch equipment. On-site attendance and safety policies apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years customer care experience in manufacturing or distribution
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds

Responsibilities

• Maintain heavy daily telephone contact with customers regarding product information, needs and availability
• Enter orders into the systems and expedite them per processes
• Follow up on open orders and relay shipping information using CRM to manage cases and reports
• Initiate and process customer claims and disputes; route inquiries to branch personnel
• Assist with inventory tracking, restocking and will-call customers
• Review dealer web orders for special handling due to inventory or shipping instructions
• Operate forklift and branch equipment as required
• Ensure on-site attendance and compliance with health and safety policies
