Job summary

Controlled Products Systems Group (CPSG), an affiliate of Chamberlain Group, is seeking an Associate II in Customer and Branch Operations in Chicago. You will handle orders, inquiries, and claims, and support inventory and safety processes.

This on-site role requires strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lift and move items as needed. A minimum of 2 years in customer care is expected, with base pay plus benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years customer care experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain heavy daily telephone contact with customers regarding product information and availability.
• Enter orders and expedite them; respond to customer requests to ensure service quality.
• Follow-up on order status and relay shipping information; use CRM for cases and reports.
• Process customer claims and inquiries; route emails to the appropriate branch personnel.
• Support safety and quality by following standard work and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Assist with inventory tracking and restocking at the branch.
• Greet will-call customers; ensure orders are completed expeditiously.
• Review dealer web orders for special handling due to inventory or shipping instructions.
• Operate forklift and branch equipment as required.
