Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Bank Teller for a Fortune 100 financial institution in Los Angeles, onsite at Venice Crossroads Shopping Center. The role covers deposits, loans, and card products, and requires strong customer service skills.

The position is full-time with a 40-hour workweek and a rotating Saturday schedule. Candidates typically have 1–3 years of cash handling experience and a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of cash handling experience in in-person customer service, retail, and banking industry
• Bank Teller experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via email
• High School Diploma is required

Responsibilities

• Provide members with the full range of client products and services including depository accounts, lending products, and cards
• Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision
• Analyze, research and resolve problems related to member accounts/loans
• Assist members with submitting loan applications and credit card applications
• Counsel members about company products and services
• Ensure cash and negotiable instruments are handled properly
• Identify opportunities to cross-service products and increase product penetration
• Perform platform banking functions
