Job summary

TEKsystems in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Bank Teller for a contract role with a Fortune 100 financial institution. The position requires handling cash and delivering full banking services on-site at Venice Crossroads.

The role involves advising members, processing accounts and loans, cross-selling products, and resolving account issues while maintaining accuracy and compliance. Availability Mon-Fri 8:00–6:00, some Saturdays. Salary $23.28/hr, onsite.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of cash handling experience in in-person customer service, retail, and banking industry.
• Bank Teller experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via email.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with the full range of client products and services, including deposits, loans, and cards.
• Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
• Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans.
• Assist members with submitting consumer, mortgage, equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications.
• Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services.
• Ensure cash and negotiable instruments are handled properly.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and increase product penetration.
• Perform platform banking functions.
