Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring a Bank Teller to start with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution in Ontario Ranch, CA. The role requires handling cash, processing deposits and loan applications, and advising members on banking products on a full-time schedule.

The position is onsite in Ontario, CA with standard banking hours (Mon-Fri 8:00am-6:00pm, Sat 8:00am-2:30pm) and occasional Saturdays. Pay is $21.82/hr with benefits eligibility for this temporary role.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with full range of products and services including depository accounts, lending products, and credit/debit cards.
• Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
• Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans
• Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications
• Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services
• Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly
• Identify opportunities to cross service products and increase product penetration
• Perform platform banking functions

Job Description:

• To provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services offered by the client including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts; Lending products; and credit/debit cards.
• To perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
• Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans
• Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications
• Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services
• Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly
• Identify opportunities to cross service products and increase product penetration
• Perform platform banking functions

Schedule:

• Full-time/ 40 hours per week
• MUST be available between Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm, Saturday: 8:00am - 2:30pm
• Could be expected to work 2-3 Saturdays a month depending on business need

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Ontario, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.82 - $21.82/hr.
