Job summary

The Teller is an entry-level position responsible for assisting with the execution of branch activities, including day-to-day delivery of client-facing services and processing transactions, in coordination with the Customer Service function. The role is part-time in Los Angeles, CA, with a 40-hour week salary range of $41,600.00 - $49,360.00 and hourly rate $20.00 - $23.73.

Qualifications

• Previous relevant experience preferred.
• Demonstrated sales and customer service experience.
• Money handling experience.
• Effective problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team oriented environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for Citi clients and provide a positive first impression through friendly and efficient customer service.
• Perform efficient and accurate banking transactions including cash handling and maintaining branch vault cash.
• Identify referral opportunities for new products and services based on client’s financial goals.
• Educate clients on digital and self-service opportunities offered by Citi.
• Adhere to bank policies and regulatory procedures to ensure safety and security.
• Ensure all client needs are met and manage client issues, escalating as needed.
• Maintain working knowledge of client accounts and products.
• Fulfilling client necessities while providing an exceptional client experience as measured by metrics.
• Assess risk in business decisions, safeguarding Citi and assets, and escalate/control issues with transparency.
