Job summary

Aaron’s Customer Accounts Advisors drive payment collections and lease renewal by explaining benefits and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role builds relationships with customers over the phone and in person to move them toward ownership of merchandise.

The position offers hourly pay from $14.00 to $16.00 plus potential incentives, with benefits and opportunities for career advancement as part of Aaron’s total compensation package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age for positions within the United States and at least 18 years of age in Canada.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including satisfactory driving record.
• Must be able to be DOT certified, if required in location of position (United States Only).
• Able to work a schedule of hours varying from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on your own and up to 300 lbs. assisted with appropriate equipment and/or another associate.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Customer Accounts Manager in setting and achieving daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
• Maintain accurate customer account records in the store system, including payment appointments and account history.
• Build strong customer relationships to support ownership goals and drive sales.
• Manage collections and renewals by counseling customers and contacting those with expired or unrenewed agreements by phone or home visits, as required.
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
• Loading, appropriately securing product and safely operating the company vehicle.
• Clean and certify returned merchandise.
