Job summary

The Mcnaughton Mckay Group is seeking a Customer Account Specialist to serve as the primary contact for external customers and internal teams. You will ensure the right product is selected, ordered, and delivered to meet customer needs, while supporting the outside sales staff.

You will manage orders, negotiate pricing and terms, track shipments, and coordinate with purchasing, operations, and finance to ensure timely delivery and accurate billing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or pattern of continuing education preferred; high school diploma required.
• Two or more years in operations, counter sales, or electrical distribution preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders, changes, and cancellations via phone, fax, or electronic communication.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and shipping costs to maximize margins.
• Coordinate with suppliers and purchasing to ensure product availability and on-time delivery.
• Serve as main contact between customer and internal departments to ensure satisfaction.
• Support billing, inventory, and expediting for open orders and quotes.
