Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Customer Account Representative to own a portfolio of customer accounts, manage orders, and maintain ERP/MRP data. You will be the main contact for order status, shipments, and scheduling, coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer account management or a closely related role.
• Hands-on experience with order management and processing of POs and sales orders.
• Strong customer-facing communication and ability to resolve issues promptly.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems to enter and track orders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data entry, tracking, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage assigned customer accounts and be the primary contact for orders and service inquiries.
• Process and manage customer purchase orders and sales orders from entry to fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate customer, order, and shipment data in ERP/MRP systems.
• Provide timely updates on order status, shipments, availability, and scheduling.
• Coordinate with production, operations, planning, and sales to resolve customer needs.
• Proactively communicate with customers via email, phone, and virtual meetings.
• Escalate delayed orders and scheduling conflicts, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Support KPI tracking and reporting to drive continuous improvement.
