Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a Customer Service/Account Management professional to act as the sole point of contact for selected customers and manage the shipment lifecycle. You will quote, secure, monitor shipments, and update customers to ensure an exceptional experience while growing existing business.

The role requires independence, prioritization, and a strong sense of urgency to identify and act on business opportunities. Northeast Ohio roots and a commitment to service excellence are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of customer service, account management, or sales experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides ongoing professional engagement with selected customers to secure and grow business.
• Assesses customer needs to determine service offering, provides quotes and/or enters orders, and negotiates within parameters.
• Develops customer relationships to manage and grow business by understanding transportation needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
