Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Store Lead for the framing shop. You will lead a team of framers, coach selling behaviors, and oversee daily operations to deliver high-quality framing solutions.

You will drive custom framing sales while assisting customers in creating memorable framing plans. The role requires working nights, weekends, and early mornings in a public retail setting.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the framing team to deliver high-quality, on-time framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating framing solutions.
• Ensure SOP adherence and company policies, and maintain store standards.
• Plan workload with the Store Manager to meet KPI targets and frame shop goals.
• Oversee inventory, shrink and safety programs; manage on-duty responsibilities.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members.
