Job summary

Michaels in Baltimore is seeking a Store Lead for the framing department to coach a team of framers and build strong customer relationships while delivering framing solutions. You will drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing experiences.

You will support the Store Manager in enforcing SOPs, coaching staff, and planning workload to meet KPI targets, while managing inventory, safety programs, and onboarding activities.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on customer relationships while creating a framing solution for their art.
• Drive custom framing sales.
• Assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions for their art.
• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance to laws and requirements; ensure execution of policies and standards.
