Job summary

Pritchard Industries, Inc. is hiring a Custodian in South Plainfield, NJ. You will perform cleaning tasks, operate the auto scrubber, and set up spaces for events while maintaining a healthy, safe environment. The role is full-time with 40 hours per week and health benefits.

The ideal candidate has a professional attitude, can lift 50 pounds, and is reliable. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Cleaning/janitorial experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Be able to use the auto scrubber machine.
• Be able to set up for events.
• Fluent in English; bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform building cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash.
• Clean restrooms and break rooms; maintain sanitary conditions.
• Support health and safety standards across facilities.

We are seeking to hire aCustodian. You will be responsible for performing building maintenance tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, cleaning restrooms and break rooms, and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that the building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. The ideal candidate will have a professional attitude & appearance and be self-motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Job Requirements

Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.

Prior cleaning experience is a plus.

Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Janitor experience is a plus but will train

Reliable Transportation

Be able to use the auto scrubber machine

Be able set up for events

Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr

Full-time

Hours: 40 hrs/week, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 3:30 pm - 11:00 pm, Monday - Friday
