Job summary

Pritchard Industries, Inc. is hiring a Custodian to perform building maintenance tasks, including cleaning floors, restrooms, and common areas. You will work a 40-hour week from 3:00pm to 11:00pm, Monday through Friday, at our Scotch Plains, NJ facility.

The ideal candidate is reliable, physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, and able to work with cleaning equipment like auto scrubbers. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; we offer health benefits and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Janitor experience is a plus but will train.
• Reliable Transportation
• Be able to use the auto scrubber machine
• Be able set up for events
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors and removing trash.

We are seeking to hire aCustodian. You will be responsible for performing building maintenance tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, cleaning restrooms and break rooms, and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that the building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. The ideal candidate will have a professional attitude & appearance and be self-motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Job Requirements

Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
