Pritchard Industries, Inc. is a dynamic provider of facility services, serving clients in New Jersey. We are hiring a Custodian to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks across our sites, with a schedule of 40 hours per week in the afternoon shift.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a willingness to train on equipment like auto scrubbers. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred;Health benefits and growth opportunities are included.

The location is the South Plainfield School District

We are seeking to hire aCustodian. You will be responsible for performing building maintenance tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, cleaning restrooms and break rooms, and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that the building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. The ideal candidate will have a professional attitude & appearance and be self-motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Job Requirements

Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.

Prior cleaning experience is a plus.

Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Janitor experience is a plus but will train

Reliable Transportation

Be able set up for events

Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred

Full-time

Salary: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour

Hours 40 hours, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, Monday - Friday
