Job summary

Pritchard Industries in Englewood, NJ is seeking a part-time Custodian to perform building maintenance, including cleaning floors, restrooms, and common areas, and to help maintain a safe, sanitary work environment.

The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, with basic janitorial experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to assist diverse client needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Be self-motivated, hardworking, dependable.
• Be able to use janitorial equipment including an auto scrubber.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, mop and sweep floors, and remove trash.
• Clean restrooms and break rooms to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as required to keep the building safe and well-maintained.

We are seeking to hire aCustodian. You will be responsible for performing building maintenance tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, cleaning restrooms and break rooms, and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that the building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. The ideal candidate will have a professional attitude & appearance and be self-motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Janitor experience is a plus but will train
• Reliable Transportation

• Be able set up for events
