Job description

Join to apply for the Custodian role at Indianapolis Public Schools.

Hours per day: 8, Days per week: 5.

School Schedule: 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Summer Schedule: To be determined.

Major Responsibilities

• Restroom cleaning, hall maintenance, cleaning of classrooms, offices, locker rooms.
• Outside grounds work such as operating the lawn tractor, weed eater, snow blower, snow shoveling.
• Other duties as assigned by the head custodian, Principal, or Director of Maintenance Services.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and crawl under desks/tables.
