The Custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in all assigned areas.

Responsibilities

1. Perform janitorial duties
2. Complete all tasks listed on the daily schedule
3. Operate motorized cleaning equipment
4. Maintain daily upkeep of assigned areas
5. Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisors
6. Follow safety rules, policies, and procedures
7. Address risky behavior of others and oneself
8. Work collaboratively with team members
9. Perform repetitive tasks efficiently
10. Keep work areas clean
11. Adhere to all protocols, policies, and rules
12. Respond to supervision and take directions
13. Communicate professionally with team members, managers, and customers
14. Assist during staff shortages
15. Support shift leads with punch-list items
16. Use proper personal protective equipment
17. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct
18. Understand customer service principles and satisfaction importance
19. Be familiar with reporting systems and environmental safety

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid driver’s license may be required
• Completion of safety and task training/certification
• Forklift certification may be required
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, manuals, and procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals, with willingness to share knowledge with team
• Understanding of proper maintenance and care of cleaning equipment
• No specific education required; 3-6 months of training or experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Compensation: $17.80 - $18.80 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, 4:00 pm – 12:30 am
