Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, education, or closely related field; supplemented by a minimum of three (3) years previous experience and/or training involving teaching or training.
• Must have completed OSHA certification and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Trains custodial staff in all aspects of courteous, safe, efficient operation of equipment and supplies; coordinates new hire training and onsite training.
• Prepares materials and conducts training for certification and recertification of Custodians and supervisors.
• Keeps training records on all custodial employees including required and voluntary training.
• Performs administrative duties supporting daily Facilities Custodial Services safety/training activities.
• Assists with the development and implementation of Equipment Standards, Cleaning Standards and Supply/Product Standards.
