Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years custodial experience with demonstrated leadership.
• Must obtain Master Custodian certification (FSPMA) within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Respond to internal/external customers in a timely, courteous manner representing OCPS.
• Coordinate and plan custodial crew leaders; delegate tasks and monitor quality.
• Provide training to custodial staff to ensure OSHA compliance and safety.
• Inspect facilities for hazardous conditions and ensure proper cleaning standards.
• Direct custodial crews on major projects and seasonal preparations.
• Maintain custodial inventory and budget adherence.
• Respond to emergencies to mitigate hazards.
