Job summary

ESFM USA is seeking a Janitorial Manager to supervise custodial services under a client contract, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance across assigned facilities. The role includes staffing, scheduling, training, and performance oversight as directed by the Director of Operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating with client management, inspecting job performance, managing supplies, and performing hands-on cleaning when needed. Strong leadership and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills. 5–10 years of supervisory experience in custodial/cleaning in large facilities.
• General hands-on knowledge of routine nightly and daytime facility cleaning and related services.
• Working hours mostly weekdays with evenings/weekends and on-call.
• Facilities Management or equivalent experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Allocate work to subordinates and supervise areas (common areas, service hallways, food court).
• Create schedules to maintain properly skilled staffing levels.
• Approve vacations, overtime, and timecards; train custodians on equipment.
• Supervise, motivate, discipline, and evaluate staff.
• Counsel with customer management and resolve client concerns.
• Inspect and review status of facility services; institute corrective actions.
• Monitor supplies and ensure equipment is in working condition.
• Perform additional duties, including hands-on cleaning when required.
