Compass Group USA, ESFM, seeks a Janitorial Manager to oversee custodial and related services across an assigned contract. The role reports to the Director of Operations and requires coordinating staffing and quality control to meet client expectations.

The position emphasizes supervising custodial staff, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, and maintaining high standards of service across facilities. Strong leadership and safety-minded execution are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Minimum of five to ten years of recent experience in supervising custodial and related staff in major facilities.
• Knowledge of routine nightly and daytime facility cleaning and related services.
• Working hours mostly weekdays with occasional evenings/weekends/on-call.
• Facilities management or equivalent experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates the work activities of assigned custodial areas (common areas, service hallways, Food court, etc.).
• Creates schedules to meet contract requirements and staffing levels.
• Approves vacation time, overtime and timecards; trains custodians on equipment.
• Monitors performance and conducts staff evaluations.
