ESFM, the Compass Group USA facilities management division, seeks a Janitorial Facilities Manager to supervise custodial and related services within the assigned contract, ensuring client expectations and safety standards are met.

The role focuses on leadership, scheduling, training, and hands-on cleaning as needed, with bilingual English/Spanish being a plus. Competitive salary and benefits are offered in Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of recent supervisory experience in custodial services.
• Knowledge of routine nightly and daytime cleaning operations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Facilities Management or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Allocate work responsibilities among subordinates.
• Supervise and coordinate work activities in assigned areas (common areas, service hallways, food court).
• Create schedules to maintain properly skilled staffing levels.
• Approve vacation time, overtime and timecards; train custodians on equipment.
• Supervise, motivate, discipline, and evaluate staff.
• Coordinate with client management representatives on service matters.
• Inspect for satisfactory job performance and institute corrective actions.
• Monitor supply usage and ensure equipment is in good condition.
