Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in Atlanta seeks a Custodial Lead to oversee cleaning operations at multiple sites. You will provide direction to custodial staff and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include performing janitorial duties, scheduling and training, operating cleaning equipment, and managing supplies. A high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience are required; CPR/First Aid certification and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and maintain cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed.
• Assist supervisor with scheduling and training of staff.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and manage supplies.
• Track equipment inventory and maintenance; report issues.
• Conduct quality, service and safety inspections and report incidents.
• Monitor PPE usage and correct at risk behavior.
• Occasional travel to multiple work locations may be required.

Title:Custodial LeadJob Description:Job OverviewThe Custodial Lead will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and provides some work direction to custodial staff.Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Perform janitorial dutiesPerform all duties listed on the daily scheduleProvide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial SupervisorAssist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as neededOperate motorized cleaning equipmentTrack equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairSchedule clean up and repairs as neededMaintain daily upkeep of assigned areaTrack and maintain supply inventoryAssist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipmentPerform quality, service, and safety inspectionsReport incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisorReport employee personnel and customer issues to supervisorMonitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and suppliesCorrect at risk behavior and report to the supervisor immediatelyThe ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvementQualificationTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
