Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodial Lead in Chandler, AZ to oversee cleaning operations, perform duties, and guide custodial staff. The role involves equipment operation, safety inspections, and coordination with the Custodial Supervisor.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, at least 1 year in a custodial role, CPR/First Aid certification, and a valid driver’s license where required. Forklift certification and safety training are also valued.

Qualifications

• CPR/AED/First Aid certification may be required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Complete safety and task training certification; forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and daily schedule tasks.
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed.
• Assist supervision in scheduling and training staff.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and track maintenance.
• Report incidents and hazards to supervisor.

Title:Custodial LeadJob Description:Job OverviewThe Custodial Lead will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and provides some work direction to custodial staff.Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Perform janitorial dutiesPerform all duties listed on the daily scheduleProvide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial SupervisorAssist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as neededOperate motorized cleaning equipmentTrack equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairSchedule clean up and repairs as neededMaintain daily upkeep of assigned areaTrack and maintain supply inventoryAssist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipmentPerform quality, service, and safety inspectionsReport incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisorReport employee personnel and customer issues to supervisorMonitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and suppliesCorrect at risk behavior and report to the supervisor immediatelyProvide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvementQualificationTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
