Job summary

SBM Management Services is seeking a Custodial Lead to oversee cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas and provide work direction to custodial staff. The role involves operating cleaning equipment, scheduling tasks, and ensuring safety standards are met.

duties include assisting the Custodial Supervisor with staff scheduling and training, monitoring supply inventory, and reporting incidents. The position may require travel to multiple sites and lifting up to 35 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year related experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and follow the daily schedule.
• Provide work direction to custodians as directed by the Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
• Schedule cleanups and repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Track and maintain supply inventory.
• Assist in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Monitor PPE usage and enforce safety.
• Drive to various work locations and sites as needed.

# **Title:**Custodial Lead# **Job Description:****Job Overview**The Custodial Lead will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and provides some work direction to custodial staff. **Roles & Responsibilities**To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.* Perform janitorial duties* Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule* Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor* Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed* Operate motorized cleaning equipment* Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair* Schedule clean up and repairs as needed* Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area* Track and maintain supply inventory* Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment* Perform quality, service, and safety inspections* Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor* Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor* Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and supplies* Correct at risk behavior and report to the supervisor immediately* The ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.* Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement **Qualification**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
