Job summary

SBM is seeking a Custodial Lead in Livermore, CA to oversee cleaning operations and assist custodial staff. You will perform janitorial duties, operate cleaning equipment, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. The role may involve scheduling, training, and inventory tracking in a fast-paced facility environment.

Typical shifts are Monday through Friday, 3PM to 11:30PM, with a pay rate of $20.00–$21.00 per hour. SBM offers comprehensive benefits as part of its employment packages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and follow the daily schedule.
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed.
• Assist in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and track inventory.
• Schedule cleanups, repairs and maintain area upkeep.
• Assist in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Monitor PPE use and suggest corrective actions.

# **Title:**Custodial Lead# **Job Description:****Job Overview**The Custodial Lead will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and provides some work direction to custodial staff. **Roles & Responsibilities**To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.* Perform janitorial duties* Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule* Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor* Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed* Operate motorized cleaning equipment* Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair* Schedule clean up and repairs as needed* Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area* Track and maintain supply inventory* Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment* Perform quality, service, and safety inspections* Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor* Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor* Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and supplies* Correct at risk behavior and report to the supervisor immediately* Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement **Qualification**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Completed all safety and task training certification.
