Job summary

SEIU 775 seeks a Training Coordinator based in Seattle, WA, with hybrid work flexibility, to lead development and delivery of new hire and ongoing training programs for the Member Resource Center.

You will collaborate with Directors, Managers, and Coordinators to design curriculum content, assess needs, and implement training strategies that improve service to members and efficiency across the team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and/or three years of direct customer service experience.
• Classroom management and conflict handling during training.
• Experience with learning management systems or e-learning platforms.
• Willingness to work long and irregular hours; some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum and design training courses for Training Partnership and Union.
• Provide Help Desk coverage and cross-training among coordinators.
• Administer training for groups to deliver, project, and motivate trainees.
• Conduct needs assessments and identify performance gaps.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to create course content.
• Evaluate training outcomes and improve learning solutions.
• Use a variety of training techniques and delivery methods.
• May be required to do political work for candidates and member education as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
