Job summary

SEIU 775 is seeking a Training Coordinator in Seattle to create and deliver new hire and ongoing training for the Member Resource Center. You will work with Directors, Managers, and Coordinators to develop curriculum and refine programs ensuring representatives are well-versed in services offered to members.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3 years direct customer service experience.
• Experience with learning management systems or e-learning platforms.
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics and conflict effectively.
• Willingness to work long and irregular hours when needed; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum and design training courses for Training Partnership and Union.
• Provide training coverage and cross-training among coordinators.
• Administer training and motivate trainees through effective methodologies.
• Conduct needs assessments and align training with department needs.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to create course content.
• Evaluate training impact and identify future learning needs.
• Utilize diverse training techniques and delivery methods.
• May perform political work for candidates and member education as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
