Georgia State University’s College of Arts & Sciences seeks an Administrative Specialist III to lead curriculum and textbook ordering for multiple departments and to coordinate annual updates to courses and catalogs. The role trains peers in Banner, Acalog, and Curriculog, and collaborates with scheduling leads to allocate department responsibilities.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with four years of administrative experience (or a high school diploma with eight years) and strong data

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and four years administrative experience; or High school diploma or GED and eight years administrative experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
  • Experience coordinating course schedules and catalogs.
  • Ability to use Banner, Acalog, Curriculog for scheduling and catalog updates.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the course schedule for 3–4 academic units.
  • Lead planning sessions for future schedules using enrollment data.
  • Collect information from departments to build/update the course schedule.
  • Input scheduling changes in the Banner system and ensure data quality.
  • Monitor enrollment and make scheduling recommendations as needed.
  • Coordinate College Curriculum Committee meetings and training on Banner/Acalog/Curriculog.
