Job summary

Meijer is seeking a capable manager to plan, direct, and supervise team members across store departments, delivering strong customer service and sales results. The role focuses on staffing, mentorship, and ensuring training, safety, and policy compliance while maintaining Meijer standards and a positive store image.

You will lead by example, coach employees, handle disciplinary actions when needed, and contribute to a welcoming shopping environment during peak hours, with a focus on shrink

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise daily store operations across departments.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet service and sales goals.
• Staffing and hiring to meet staffing needs and ensure coverage.
• Document and apply disciplinary actions and manage promotions.
• Maintain P&L responsibility and monitor shrink within the department.
• Ensure staff safety and training to meet Meijer standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive store image.
