Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Digital Clerk to turn online orders into easy, reliable curbside pickups at our Michigan stores. You will greet customers, fulfill orders accurately, collect payments, and keep the curbside area organized and ready for next pickup.

We value a service mindset, quick learning, and teamwork. A high school diploma and 1 year of retail experience are preferred, with some cashier experience plus and ability to perform physical tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers with a courteous attitude in person and on the phone and respond to questions.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items according to standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean and ready for next pickup.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
