Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Digital Clerk to turn online orders into easy, reliable curbside pickups and drive customer loyalty. You’ll work at the curbside pickup area, fulfill orders quickly and accurately, and provide a friendly, helpful experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process‑driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide service at the curbside pickup area with accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers courteously in person and on the phone.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, teammates, and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly with leadership when needed.
• Fulfill daily orders and manage workflow from a dashboard.
• Select, scan, bag items, and bag according to standards.
• Store and stage orders following food safety guidelines.
• Keep curbside area clean and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
