Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders and create a smooth, reliable pickup experience from start to finish. The role emphasizes friendly, efficient service and accurate order processing.

You will work with store teams, use technology to manage orders, and maintain high standards of safety and customer care. Prior retail or cashier experience and a high school diploma are preferred, with physical tasks required as part of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing).

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup.
• Fulfill orders accurately and accept payment for the carside experience.
• Greet customers with a courteous attitude and respond to questions.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders during shift.
• Scan/verify products, bag items per standards, and store orders correctly.
