Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders, ensuring a quick and accurate pickup experience. You will greet customers warmly, handle order payments, and maintain a smooth curbside operation while collaborating with store leadership and team members.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliable performance, and the ability to learn new technologies to support efficient pickups. Training is provided to build customer-first service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers with a courteous attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Scan/verify products, bag items, and follow bagging standards.
