Job summary

StyleCraft Homes in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a Talent Resource Manager to champion culture and manage the full employee lifecycle. You will own hiring, onboarding, retention, recognition, and employee relations across offices, sales centers, and job sites.

You'll partner with Finance on compensation, benefits, and payroll administration, and lead a Culture Plan with data-driven engagement efforts. A people-first leader with strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or employee relations.
• Experience owning full-cycle recruiting for office, sales, and field roles.
• Experience with employee relations, investigations, corrective action, and terminations.
• Working knowledge of federal and Virginia employment law (EEO, harassment, Form I-9).
• Strong relationship-building, judgment, and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle hiring for all positions, from requisition through offer acceptance.
• Lead the Culture Plan and quarterly culture initiatives across offices and job sites.
• Conduct stay and exit interviews; shape retention strategy with leadership.
• Partner with leaders on career paths, succession planning, and internal promotions.
• Support bi-annual performance reviews with tools and coaching.
• Maintain policies, ensure compliance with employment laws.
