Job summary

LSS of South Dakota is seeking an on-call Event Supervisor to manage community events at the Coliseum and Multi-Cultural Center in Sioux Falls. You will greet organizers, ensure needs are met, and support set-up, coordination, and wrap-up for each event.

The role emphasizes customer service, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. This on-call position offers flexible scheduling based on event needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Willingness to submit to background checks to detect criminal convictions.
• Requires a valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one with approved driver status.

Responsibilities

• Greet group leaders and provide a welcoming presence.
• Maintain clear communication with groups and staff.
• Operate lights and basic AV or kitchen equipment as needed.
• Ensure event policies are followed throughout the shift.
• Maintain general oversight of the event and security after the event ends.
