Sodexo is hiring a Cook to prepare and present a variety of hot and cold dishes for meals and events. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, follow recipes, and ensure food safety and sanitation. The role requires reliable attendance and ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Requires familiarity with kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold items per Sodexo standards.
• Follow basic recipes and product directions for preparation and serving.
• Taste products, read menus, estimate food needs, and check production.
• Significant walking or mobility.
• Walk/stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
